Accessories / Special Features:
- Sturdy whirling unit with 2 forward and 2 backward-running pneumatic steady rests with integrated prismatic guides. Manual adjustment of the thread depth and optical adjustment of the lead angle on the support.
- Driven tool head, normally equipped with 4 tools: 2 base knives, 1 flank knife and 1 trimming knife.
- Workpiece speeds and lead feed rates are finely adjusted by means of change gears. Separate quickfeed for resetting the whirling support.
- Simple Radial dividing device for whirling multi-start threads.
- Repositioning device for whirling threads longer than the centre distance with intermediate support.
- The machine is equipped with a compensation device to correct lead screw pitch errors, thermal length changes in the workpiece or errors during repositioning. This enables both electronically programmed compensation of the lead screw error and workpiece-specific linear compensation by means of a wedge system.
- Motorised tailstock with automatic stop by means of an pressure sensor in the center
